Dr. Zuzanna Ciezkowska—known by many as Dr. C—has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl. Growing up in Poland, she was always surrounded by nature and a wide variety of animals, which fostered a deep love and respect for all living creatures.

Dr. Ciezkowska received her veterinary degree from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences in 2020. After graduation, she moved back to the United States and began working as a veterinary technician at Carriage Animal Hospital while preparing for the PAVE (Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence) certification, which enables foreign veterinary graduates to practice in the U.S. In January 2022, she began her clinical year at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and successfully obtained her Illinois DVM license in April 2023. She then returned to Carriage Animal Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian.

Dr. Ciezkowska is passionate about providing thorough, compassionate care and cherishes the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets. She is especially grateful to be part of a team that shares her values and dedication to animal health and well-being.

Outside of work, Dr. Ciezkowska enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and three beloved pets—her cat Richard, her dog Zuri, and the newest member of the family, a playful puppy named Tex.
