Shelby joined the Carriage family as a CSR in April of 2025. She brings together her strong background in communication and lifelong love for animals. She holds a B.A. in English from Indiana University and is currently pursuing her M.A. in English Literature and Publishing at DePaul University.

Originally from rural Indiana, Shelby’s passion for animal care began with volunteering at local shelters, eventually inspiring her to join the veterinary field. At the front desk, she strives to create a welcoming and reassuring experience for both clients and their pets, using her communication skills to help bridge the gap between pet owners and veterinary care.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her two beloved Golden Retrievers, Ozzy and Boone.
